Inspired by studying pink found in nature, I quickly fell in love with this vibrant pink peony. Wanting to capture the energy of the flower I created this painting in a loose watercolor style. The additional florals and foliage helps to complete the composition to be a beautiful addition to any gallery wall.

Emily is an artist and founder of West 5th, a paper and home goods company based out of central Indiana. When not illustrating in her she-shed studio, Emily can be found exploring antique stores, painting with her kiddos, or whipping up something scrumptious in the kitchen. Emily has a degree in Graphic Design and Illustration, which gave her the experience to provide the best product to her customers. After 10 years of working in corporate marketing, she left her career to pursue her dream of freelancing full-time.
