Do you have characters in your life you'd like to capture in a storybook? Can you picture them steering a pirate ship in the sky, or leading a pack of safari animals through the jungle? Story telling is a huge passion of mine, and I'd like to tell yours with a storybook Illustration that represents you or your loved ones. 

These paintings are made in an illustrative style, meant to have vivid color and pattern to mimic the cover of a storybook. This will be a keepsake for kids, or parents to treasure for generations.

Based on photos provided of the characters featured, each portrait is painted by West 5th owner, Emily Deisler. The setting of the story can either be provided to me based on the characters interests, or we can work together to draft the riveting tale. The image is painted in watercolor on cold pressed watercolor paper.

"Characters" can either be people or pets. This listing is for 1-3 characters, which an extra cost for 4-6 characters.

THE ILLUSTRATION PROCESS

1.  First, select your print size in the shop. Choose between 11"x14", or 16"x20". Prices vary. 
2. Checkout!
3. During checkout you will fill out a form with any additional text you'd like to include on the illustration. Names, book title, you name it. Up to two lines of text.
4. Once your order is complete, include your email in the prompting, and I will reach out to you with questions to get the illustration started.
5. After the painting is complete, I'll email you a PDF proof to make sure all text is approved.
6. Once approved, I ship to you! 

* Please allow up to 2 weeks to receive your proof. Print will ship 1 to 3 days after proof is approved. Frame not included.
