About the Art:
This print was painted out of my love for pennant decor. The classic, timeless looks of pennants has always brought me joy. Growing up my parents always sang this song to my older sister and the memory has stuck with me as a special element of our family. When creating art for children's bedrooms, that memory kept coming back to me so I wanted to capture it in watercolor. Warm yellow tones bring sunshine to any room, which is why it became the center of this watercolor painting. Also available in blue! Great for a matching brother and sister pair.

Emily is an artist and founder of West 5th, a paper and home goods company based out of central Indiana. When not illustrating in her she-shed studio, Emily can be found exploring antique stores, painting with her kiddos, or whipping up something scrumptious in the kitchen. Emily has a degree in Graphic Design and Illustration, which gave her the experience to provide the best product to her customers. After 10 years of working in corporate marketing, she left her career to pursue her dream of freelancing full-time.
